Lee Fraser's B6 Festiva

Front Corner

Lee's Festiva was originally a carb model. Wheels were sourced from a Mercury Tracer. Nice upgrades include a swap to Ford Aspire (Brembo) discs and rear drums, stainless steel brake hoses, struts and lowering spring set from Festiva Motorsport. Ford Festiva factory rear spoiler was added after this pic was taken. Future plans call for the addition of driving light and paint.

Centerpiece of Lee's car is a modified B6 SOHC 8-valve engine. This healthy B6 breathes deep through a pair of Mikuni 40mm sidedraft carburetors matched to a custom one-off intake manifold (done by Alex at Specialty Engineering Inc. in Westminster B.C.). Second connection at top of radiator (all-metal) is for heater return hose. Fuel system features a Carter fuel pump and Fram fuel filter. A custom ground cam from Camtech (Australia) compliments the sidedraft carbs. Headers are Genie and were obtained through Corksport. A Mazda 929 hood strut is used in place of the factory hood rod. Clutchmasters supplies the clutch for the B6 swap in Lee's car. Future plans call for an oil cooler.

.Interior pictures nice sunroof, multi-panel mirror, and a set of custom installed Auto Meter instruments. Seat and steering wheel upgrades planned in future.
