  • Dyno time for the bp!

This last weekend i finally got to see what the car made for power.

    Mods
    - mx-3 v6 MAF
    - Exintake cam swap with corksport cam gears and -5 intake and +1 exhaust
    - Obx header
    - 2'1/4 exhaust

Car made 130whp and 121 wtq last year it made 119whp so i think i gained some good numbers. This is on a mustang dyno if anyone wants to know.

130whp on a Mustang Dyno. Ford Escort GT Swap, OBX Header, Exhaust cam swap, Adjustable cam gears, custom intake, and custom cat-back exhaust.

There is one more street legal i think then its done for the year. Ill see if i can make it out and get some vids. On a side note before the cam and header i did 15.7@86mph but i did notice with cam you need the rev allot high so i don't fall on my face at start.

Nice numbers. Hmm, you have a MAF. Is your computer and harness from a late '95 or '96 car? You have a crank sensor at the crank pulley on that setup dont you.

Nice. Thanks for the update. I have a question. Do you have your electric cooling fan set up to run all the time when the engine is on or does it run off the t-stat switch.

                  awesome!!

Dude, that is awesome. You have a very similar setup to mine. I have a pacesetter header though. I have the exhaust/intake cam swap but cant seem to get it dialed in right. We notched my gear for adjustment but still not right. I did not know that our our computers would read the maf. Have you got a stock egt computer? I was getting frustrated with this cam swap but after reading this post, I am now inspired and will keep on trying with some new adjustable cam gears. Thanks for a much needed shot in the arm!!

Ya I had no plans on putting the battery in the back so I figured this should work.

Sorry to dig this up, but I'm curious about the mx-3 maf as well. Definitely gives it a cleaner look!
