I bought my festiva since two year in October 2005. In December I’ve got an accident with an ambulance (not on a call), he go to fast and there was ice on the road. He hit me hard in the passenger door. I have a dream with this car so I rebuilt-it. In November 2006 I've got a crazy idea to swap my car and I bought an Escort Gt 1994 but I put the project aside because I am not a car mechanic. This year the 26 th of May around 11P.M. I was going to buy my sparkwires for my stockcar (Mercury Cougar 1978 351W cause I’ve got race the next day) and I hit it a buck. (The day after I went to search my sparkwires and I also did the race. During the race a stupid guy make me overturn on the top. So I broke my stock car and have a big backache. 2 Car in less than 12 hour New record LOL ) As I already ordered my bumpers and I already have my side skirt & spoiler I decided to rebuild–it again !!! August 21th I pull out the BP from my Escort GT cleaned and detailed the BP. After this, September 12th, I pull out the old B3 and clean the engine bay. The 15th I put the BP in my Festiva, the 20th I start-it without axles and the tranny in first gear so I broke the tranny. I bought one from a guy who own 7 festiva for 100$. I put it in the car, start the car and ride the car for 20kms. When I want to downshift from the 5th gear the tranny wont so I went to a junkyard and I bought one from them for 325$ (with a 3 months waranty). I switch the tranny the 27th and finaly the car run fine. And now my project is almost done. I love it And I put all my money on it !!!
