NICE! Looks like it should stick pretty well.

    What model is the seat?

looking good man... how's steering with thouse tires? I'd imagine turning the wheels while the car is stopped might give quite a workout ... It always good to see more people putting big rubber on festivas though, everyone tries to stuff the widest diameter wheel up under there with the smallest tires, but I like seeing some serious rubber wrapped around all that metal
      No festiva for me ATM...

                Thanks guys!

Jimmy, it is a Sparco Sprint Junior (old) made in April 2000 but for AutoX it works just fine.

niklid05, I purchased them on Ebay 13x8" Diamond Racing wheels w/0 offset that were powdercoated Silver but it was dull and scratched a bit so I painted them. I paid $175 for them and $10 on paint.

stefan, I just took out the Kenwood CD player I had in there because I can't hear it over my exhaust at highway speeds so I might as well not have it and my class rules for AutoX dictate that I cover over any opening that was orginally filled.

I'm working on a camera mount for the rear brace. Right now the FMS springs are too soft for me and these extreme wheels so I am ordering Ground Control Coilovers 225 in/lb front 150 in/lb rear... Hopefully I won't need to cut the fenders. I took it around the block w/these on it after the pix and it was rubbing on the back pretty significantly.. -Kyle

                    Sorry to hear that Silver.
But not everyone one on the site is here to race their car. They are here because of all that it has to offer...including the humor at times.
You are obviously happy with your car...which is a good thing...but I am happy with my car for other reasons other than racing it. One should not all but leave because they did not get the response they expected to a post they made on the site....just my 2 cents. All I can afford right now.

                    p.s.
Is Chicken Racing supposed to be a totally serious name?

And yes Chicken Mechanix Racing is the name of our car club... The cars in it are an STi 2006, Miata 1995, and the Festiva.. We keep it friends, just us for simplicity and to keep it our own.

Thats cool...but what I was getting at is that you mention this site to be full of jokers like the civic sites....and yet you have a jokey type name for your racing club. I do see why you may be upset about the comments...but you did recieve positives from others that are into the racing thing. Because the other got more comments because there may be more people on here that like to just have fun and not race their Festy is no reason to abandon us!
