  • Possible west Kentucky M&G

I'm in touch with a guy who has a steering column for fifty bucks, he's in Illinois, and I'm in Memphis TN.

Halfway in the middle, we are thinking about where to go...

This could be fun, who's in?

    Swap and trade...

We did it - but it was just two of us. Personally - it isn't the destination but the excuse to go on a road trip that matters to me. William had a lot of excellent advice and insider news that I'm going to incorporate in my plans and we did figure out that the rack in my '91 is about shot.

The rest of this month I'll be working on smoothing up what I've got, and maybe snooping a few salvage yards...

One of the advantages is that using Google Maps you can save the location of your local filling station - and absolutely PIN DOWN your present fuel mileage by topping up and then topping up at the destination, using the numbers from the gas pump and the miles reading from the map together you can do the math.
    (NO Guess Work)

It gives you a true figure (assuming the gas pump doesn't lie - and they have to be certified by a state weights and measures standard)
