Hey here is my Festiva build. Saved this car from certain doom. 1991 with a BP swapped in but not running and Aspire brake swap done. After many hours of diagnosing wrong wiring swapped fuel lines and other issue finally got it running. Then it was time to fix up the the rust and add some style.

The poor car was gutted for auto cross and ice racing. Picked up a donor car and the work began.

Stripped the car done and started fixing rust and holes.

Trips to the junkyard for more parts.

More painting and test fitting wheels.

        Doors finished.

Trying to clean the 100 pounds of sand out of the carpet.

        Started painting the the hood.

Figured everyone does a flat balck hood but haven't seen a checker one.

Turned out pretty good i think.

Wheels and tires on and it makes it/s first maiden voyage around the block.

            bumpers and grille on.

            Grrrrrrrrrrr

Angry eyes and a very low front lip.

First trip out and about, with very loud straight pipe bottle exhaust.

Parked down at a local car meet.

Started more on the interior making new door cards and custom rear ones.

Then it was time to add some speakers... Couldn't just do normal ones with this crazy paint.

              Mounting them in the back.

Ajoe, what did everyone at the meet think about your paint job?
Are you looking for a pair of headrests?

They seemed to like the paint job. I get alot of thumbs up when on the street. My headrests are badly sun blistered but planning on swapping seats.

Wow! I am absolutely speechless. Amazing job, mate. I always said if I would paint a Festy it would be Olive Drab. Best build I've seen in a while!
