  • 1/4 MILE BP Times!

So they just opened the track on july 3, just finished repaving and redoing the whole track! It was my first time racing on the track and happen to run these times on 165/45/15 lauching at 2000rpm and just pulling out. So fun tho! Had to race my friend I was pitting with at semi finals. I came 3rd place out of 23 cars and he got 2nd winning some good stuff. He almost won the wally trophy which would have been sooo sick! to bad he was so hyped he ran the red haha. I raced about 11 times. Well heres my times, fastest was a 14.726 @ 93.64mph, I was running consistant 14.8-15sec allday and night. slicks would been nice! haha lmk if anyone knows were to get good cheap slicks, thanks

Throw some slicks on and get that 60' down around 2.0 and you'll be running low 14's.

    Still thats quick for NA!

Heres a link to some Mickey Thompsons. They have the 22x8x15 for 133.00 each. Shipping isn't bad either.

            Thats the size I have.

I would almost do a 20 inch tire though.

                    I think they're 15x6

But I would rather have 14 or 13's for more sidewall. More sidewall = more wrinkle on launch, more rubber band effect.

Hmmm. That's why Greg recommended 22 or 23x13x8. Thanks man.

It's going to be interesting to see if a 22 will fit under our fenders. I run a 20x8x14, but could use more diameter for the top end. Mine did 1.67 sixty foot, launching 7000 rpm @20 lbs of boost. I'm waiting to see someone else try this to their Festiva
