            Got a little done today.
Trimmed the extra carpet and get the belts and passenger side seat installed.

That carpet looks dirty but it's not just a darker than stock gray, and bad lighting lol.

Are those Tracer seats? I have a similar set that I'm installing in Pedro.

Escort wagon seats .. same as tracer
They were the closest match to my rear seat. And there much more comfortable. But they don't lay back as far as the stock seats did.

Your car is coming along great. Updating all that sound deadening is going to really improve the feel of the car. When I would take people for rides in my b6t car they always said it sounded like the car was going to come apart at those speeds. Lol. I'm used to that sound because race cars have no sound absorption, so it doesn't scare me. The festiva chassis is one of the most rigid consumer car chassis ever produced according to sae documentation. It just seems cheap and flimsy because it's not insulated well. Your car is going to feel like a little Mercedes, without the hefty repair bills.

                    • Thanks ! That's what I'm going for I drive a lot for work and want it to be comfortable. I'm also going to fallow your coil over setup. I would like this one to be a jack of all trades.
It will get the b6d from my other car and possibly a rear turbo on xr2 electronics to keep it simple for my first turbo build.

                      • Swapped out the junk aftermarket non fitting fender for the nice one off my other car.

put the junk one back on the other car thats junk yard bound.

                        • Looks like the build is coming along nicely. I've got a couple of quick questions for you. Were did you get the carpet? I'm assuming that you bought new since you had to trim it down to fit properly. Also, the painted rear interior panels look great, I'm thinking about doing something similar. Has the stone texture with the clear coat held up well so far? Thanks, for any info. I'm planning to fully rebuild the interior of the car I just picked up and you've done some good work on your interior.

                          • Carpet from stockinteriors.com
Stone coating holds up fine but use a good 2k clear I used cheap spray can clear and it faded . I'll be redoing those panels with good automotive clear down the road.
But they still look good for now.

                              • Looking to go purple just can't quite find the color I want.
I picked up a 99 mazda miata booster this weekend for 26 bucks.
I'm hoping this is the one the swaps right in. Picks after install.
