  • New to me car! Minty 85' Nissan Sentra 5 spd!

Picked this up today at a auction! I love it! 85' Sentra with 88,000 original miles, own owner car, it's clean and runs/drives like new still practically! Gets great MPG's, comparable to a 5 spd festiva I would say! This is my new daily driver, only plans for it are to get better wheels, do some work on the suspension, and enjoy driving it! It's too nice and unmolested to do much to! Saw it earlier in the week after work and had to stop and take a look at it, wanted it bad! Hoped I would get it, and what do you know.. I did

Found this a bit ironic after what happened to my last car... haha

Thought some of you guys may be interested in seeing it, I'll still be around here even though I'm out of a Festiva now..
-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.

Peel off the seat covers and throw them in the washing machine.
Hog ring them back on after they have dried on the clothes line.

Glad to see you still have a sense of humor after what happened.

That's looks in really beautiful condition!

It does need some hood scoops, a big ol' rear wing and some high performance fuzzy dice though! :p

Nice score laddy. I'd like to find a prize like that here, would get me the 'H' off the biannual emissions-testing grid.
But: What is the likelihood of getting ahold of ordinary parts for these cars? This is where I'd be having grave reservations about using such a car as a daily driver.

That looks great! If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for it? Or did I miss that?

Nice car! You might find some little things to upgrade, like maybe door cards w/map pockets in the JY for instance. Better radio/speakers. A Weber when that carb becomes problematic, for more power and mileage, plus simplicity.

Then flames, stick-on bullet holes, etc.
