Many of you have heard me write or talk about my 93 auto "Rosie", well here she is.

This is how she looked the night I bought her. Paid a whopping 650 bucks for this lovely girl. She was solid, a few dents, but mechanically two wheels in the salvage yard. Her P.O. was driving her daily into the ground and he knew it. He was a Festiva lover, and this car along with several other festivas had been in his family since new. He wants another one, but a manual trans car. I think he felt good selling her to someone who would care for her, and the love started the day she came to me.
Heres a list of what I've done so far.

    Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned!
New copper dual core radiator (her radiator was half plugged with stop leak)
factory auto radiator fan and shroud (thanks Arty!) because hers was missing
rubber accordion intake pipe from the salvage yard, hers was cracked
    New thermostat, coolant flush.
    tranny flush
new cd player, and speakers (all 4! yay!)
good used dash bezel (thanks Max!)
New trans mounts, front and rear (rear was a PTA)
used brake pads (she's getting tweaks old capri swap when I get around to it)
spark plugs (the old ones were horrific, can't believe she even ran!)
O.Z. rally edition wheels with 165 45 15" Federal formoza tires

She still needs a lot of work, but at least she runs good and is reliable now. In the near future she is getting a B6t mounted to the auto tranny, capri brakes, advance suspension system, rebuilt steering rack and LX interior (she is a GL with A/C).

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Thanks! They are O.Z. Rally wheels off a Mitsubishi Lancer O.Z. rally edition. They are 15x6 with around a 46mm offset iirc. With 165/45/15 tires they fit a festiva with wheel spacers in the rear but no other mods.

I liked that pale blue Festiva with the green rims; besides the fine winning car. What a nice effort to combine such an unusual color scheme successfully. Will we see more of that car here too?

Thanks, That's Tweak. January FOTM. It's actually white, but in that picture with the wheel color contrast it does look blueish. If you look up the pictures from Festiva Madness 6 there are a few of the car with those neon green/yellow wheels on it.
