Tiburon seats

Has anyone ever tried to adapt a set of Tiburon seats into a Festiva?
Tiburon is a very small car too.

Anyone know how if I need power to make the SRS work?
There is nothing like the feel of real leather.

don't try to apply the SRS in the seats, you'll have nothing but trouble and may ruin the seats altogether. (SRS= safety restraint system, aka: airbags)

Yes. I bought them now. Isn't SRS supposed to save you in the event of a side impact?
Where is the airbag located? Where the red writing is?

within the side foam....don't try and hook ir up. It would take impact sensors, a control module....so on and so forth. We have a set of those in our yard from a 2003.

Be very careful when installing these - I would find a blank plug to insert into the plug to keep it from acidentally appling

I'm interested in how they turn out. Does the Tiburon have rear seats? I may grab a set of seats out of a Crossfire in the future (boss' son crashed his and plans to part out at some point).

Yes the Tiburon has rear seats. But I have no use for them. Go on the Bay and search Tiburon leather. These seats have soft leather and are nicely sculpted. Not like some of the old horse skins that are removed at the glue factory. I would bet they would fit nicely, too.
I would rather install some lighted vanity visors from a Mini Cooper instead.

A friend of mine has many many tiburon parts, he has a 00' with a body kit/paint job and has a parts car, and i think he currently is fixing a third tib to re-sell

the spare seats he has are the 00-01 style so if they are the same i will look into it for you

We have a crossfire in stock too..

Pretty nice seats aren't they?? Ugly as sin those Crossfire's though! But, just my opinion.

The reason I asked if it had rear seats is 'cause the front seats will be made for it.
